Providing sustenance for the body and soul at Family Endeavors
Family Endeavors provides services that empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities. GDC will visit Family Endeavors to participate in its Fairweather Family Lodge Supper Club where GDCers will prepare and serve a meal to residents and their children and host fun kids activitites.
A day of fun at The Children's Shelter
For a child being sheltered, activities, recreation, and the making of happy memories are an anchor to childhood. GDC will spend an afternoon with the children, hosting arts & crafts projects and capping off the afternoon with snack time and a reading circle, featuring our GDCers.
A day of companionship with Seniors
It's important to value all ages in our community, from the very young to the very old. Visiting with seniors helps to keep them mentally and emotionally engaged. GDC will spend an afternoon at Cima Hospice, hosting a bingo game, playing cards and board games and socializing with the seniors who live there.
